Messages (also updated) for GPs to circulate:

  • If your child has Covid-19 symptoms, keep home from school. Contact 119 or www.gov.uk/coronavirus for a Covid-19 test. Self-isolate until results confirmed.

FLU DATA AND PHARMACIES

ACTION: Remember regularly update pharmacy flu data to their clinical systems

There has been a really positive start to the flu programme this year - particularly in the over 65s and care homes patient groups - and we'd like to thank practices and PCNs for their continued hard work. Local pharmacies have also been providing higher numbers of flu vaccinations in NW London, around 33,000 vaccinations according to SONAR, supporting our plans to reach 75% uptake in all the at risk cohorts.

Most of those receiving a flu jab in pharmacy will be registered with a NW London GP and we want to be sure that this uptake data is accurately reflected in the WSIC flu dashboard. Practices are therefore kindly requested to update the data received from SONAR onto your clinical systems on a weekly basis, using the correct SNOMED coding: 955691000000108.

It is designed to equip experienced practice managers with the tools, skills, strategies and networks to lead, manage and influence change, and consider how Primary Care Networks (PCNs) and the NHS Long-Term Plan (LTP) will start to shape the way healthcare is delivered locally, regionally and nationally.
