The Business Intelligence team has produced a ‘Primary Care Profile Pack’ for each CCG. The packs cover the following for each CCG area:

  • Long term condition prevalence
  • Breakdown of the population by Electronic Frailty Index (EFI)

  • And finally, COVID prevalence

The packs have been developed to support PCN workforce planning with knowledge of the key health issues that each PCN/borough has to deal with and are available to access here. Any queries should be sent to nwlccgs.localservices@nhs.net.

NEW Online sleep improvement & insomnia service

ACTION: Refer your patients to this new service where appropriate

During the pandemic, sleeping issues and insomnia have and continue to affect many people’s lives. The North West London Personalisation Group have identified Sleepstation, an NHS approved clinically validated online sleep improvement programme, as a service which can support patients with insomnia, providing sleep education and targeting dysfunctional beliefs/attitudes about sleep.

This service is free of charge (usual cost £295 to patient) when the patient is referred by their GP or advanced nurse practitioner. This is currently available to SystmOne practices and shortly will be released for EMIS practices.

For further information about Sleepstation, how to refer and the free webinar, read this letter and presentation.
