This week there is national recognition for volunteers and patient participation groups. One of the positive stories to come from the Covid-19 pandemic is the number of people who have come forward to volunteer to help the NHS. We honour their efforts in this issue.
We also bring you details of Community Voices; an initiative aiming to capture the impact of Covid-19 on Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic communities.
There has been a lot of publicity about NHS Test and Trace and we signpost to resources that will help you understand how the system works.
Our Healthwatch colleagues want your feedback and we include links to surveys that will let you have your say.
Next week is National Diabetes Week and we link you to North West London’s Know Diabetes website with specific Coronavirus guidance for people living with diabetes.
Finally, in a difficult week following the death of George Floyd in the United States, we want to say that we are proud of the diversity that makes up North West London and we stand with our Black, Asian and Minority Ethnic (BAME) staff and communities against racism.
