Coronavirus (COVID-19) update from North West London NHS - 3 July 2020

North West London NHS Coronavirus response
We start this issue with a reminder of the importance of continuing to observe the national guidance for England on staying safe and protecting you and your loved ones from Coronavirus. In a week where there will be further easing of restrictions it is important to remember that we are still in a pandemic and should continue to observe the rules closely and stay alert. For all of the information about what you can and can’t do after 4 July, see the Gov.UK website.
Remember, you should continue to use our services as and when you need them, and it is safe to do so. This includes attending routine hospital appointments or going to A&E if your condition is serious or life-threatening.
This week, we are asking those with Coronavirus symptoms to take the free test, as soon as possible. All of the information and links you need are included.
We also include advice from the Department of Health on staying safe when meeting people from outside your household.
Our colleagues at Imperial College Health Partners would like to tell you about the North West London Health Research Register which is part of the COVID-19 research response. You could help to make life-saving health research a reality. The details are included.
On 5 July 2020, it will be 72 years since the NHS and social care system was established and 2020 has been the most challenging year in its history. We tell you how you can come together to applaud all of those who have been helping us through the pandemic.
