Coronavirus (COVID-19) update from North West London NHS - 28 August 2020
Published on: 28th August 2020
The COVID-19 pandemic is still with us so we need to remain alert, in order to protect ourselves, our families and our communities.
Remember to continue to follow the national guidance. Wash your hands frequently with soap and water for at least 20 seconds and social distance when you are in public areas, keeping at least two metres away from people you don’t live with where possible.
You must wear a face covering on public transport, in shops and in supermarkets and if you have any symptoms of Coronavirus – which could be a new continuous cough, a high temperature, or a loss of/change in taste or smell – take a test. You can do that online today.
As we are approaching the bank holiday weekend we have included details of where to find pharmacy opening times. These may be different to the usual hours for your area so do check them out.
Remember the NHS is open for business so continue to access our services and it is safe to do so. If you are called for a hospital appointment, make sure you attend. But if you think you have an urgent need for our services, don’t just turn up at A&E. Talk before you walk. Either phone your GP surgery or 111 - please use 111 online in the first instance as this will be quicker. In a medical emergency, call 999.
