Coronavirus (COVID-19) update from North West London NHS - 20 November 2020
Published on: 23rd November 2020
The big national and international Coronavirus news continues to be around the progress of the various vaccines being developed. There are lots of reasons for optimism and the NHS is ready for the imminent challenges that it will face in making sure everyone who should get the vaccine does so safely. We open the newsletter with an extended feature containing all of the latest information.
But for now we must continue to be vigilant. Like everywhere else in the capital, North West London is seeing a rise in the number of Covid-positive cases being admitted to hospitals. We all need to play our part to help keep as many of our friends, family and relatives safe.
The new national restrictions will continue until 2 December so until then the message continues to be, ‘Stay home to protect the NHS and save lives.’ That is of course unless you are called to a hospital or other NHS appointment. We are open for business and it is safe to use our services.
This week we also bring you some new and important information about the flu vaccination for children, signpost to mental health support and give details on how you can 'Help Us Help You' this winter.
